Non-Superwash Tasmanian Merino Wool - The Hazards
Hobart Wool Co's Pure Merino Wool Non-Superwash (Hand Washable) Yarn is made from 100 per cent Tasmanian-grown and Australian-processed and spun pure merino wool.
This yarn has not been superwashed. This means it has retained its natural, scaly surface fibres, offering superior stitch definition, bounce, texture, warmth and durability, making it perfect for colour- and cablework. It is also sourced from non-mulesed animals, making it both an ethical and sustainable choice.
The Hazards is a bold colourway featuring the strong browns, reds, pinks, and greys of the mountain range located between Coles Bay and Freycinet National Park on Tasmania's gorgeous East Coast. Use this stunning yarn in colourwork as a contrast colour, alongside another of our colourways, or on its own to create a unique and durable hand crafted piece to last a lifetime.
