Hobart Wool Co's Pure Merino Wool Non-Superwash (Hand Washable) Yarn is made from 100 per cent Tasmanian-grown and Australian-processed and spun pure merino wool.
This yarn has not been superwashed. This means it has retained its natural, scaly surface fibres, offering superior stitch definition, texture, warmth and durability, making it perfect for colour- and cablework. It is also sourced from non-mulesed animals, making it both an ethical and sustainable choice.
Pink Mountain Berry combines the soft pinks and strong mulberry tones of Tasmania's heathland bush, leptecophylla juniperina, to create a youthful and vibrant colourway that would work well in colourwork as a contrast colour or on its own to create a unique and durable hand-crafted piece to last a lifetime.
